About EIA Scope History Purpose		The history of EIA begins in 1987 in Russia. From then, EIA is held every three years and up to now there were eight EIA conferences held in Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic. During all these years EIA is held almost parallel with the more general International Symposium on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (established 1989 in France), which has a wider scope and is more comprehensive than EIA.
